Natural Volume is a Mumbai based, 2 year old Hindi rock band. The basic idea of the band is to present
Hindi music in different styles of Rock i.e. Semi-Classical Rock, Pop Rock,
Desi Rock, and Alternative Rock which is complied with an Indian touch. The sole
inspiration of the band is not a single entity, but all the artists who believe
in the music they produce. The band tends and tries to compose songs with a
divine feel and merge quite opposite genres in Rock through its flexibility and
versatility in composing. The main motive of N.V. is to make sure that the
people listening to them feel that the listening was worth it!

Giving this idea a lead is the
Lead Vocalist & Band Manager of the band - Nevil Mehta, a man with
wonderful versatility and range in his voice. He is one who brings up a song to
a great level adding a flavor to the song which it actually needs.
Bringing up the best ever feel to
the band is the youngest one, Chaitanya Bhaidkar on the Guitar. Chaitanya gives
the soul ingredient to the band through the leads he plays. All the members
believe that he is the best that they can ever have.
NV has a wonderful Indian touch
on the guitar by Sagar Joshi. A person who tries to give the band its country's
flavour. Playing and composing songs with Nevil which are raga based, all the
band members make them wonderful with their best.
Both Guitarists in the band have
a very different style of playing giving NV a different angle to music, because
when they play together it’s an enormous combination of the Indian and western
styles.
NV has one of the very rare
Drummers in this country that can pull off wild “Head hammers”, Vishal Vazkar.
He is the man with an insane feel and clarity of playing. After having a
drummer like him NV has been able to find other levels in their music taking them
a level higher.
The backbone of the band that
completes NV with Bass Guitar, Jash Shah contributes a different face to the
band by his writing style which the youth loves like anything. And when it
comes to Bass playing, this is the guy NV had always been looking for. |
